Purpose

The purpose of this privacy policy is to let users of sitescope.co.nz (the ‘site’) know when we collect personal information and what we do with it. This site generates persistent session cookies (that is, they have an expiry date and are removed on that date) to monitor site usage. The cookies don’t collect personal information. You can disable them or clear them out of your web browser without affecting your ability to use the site.

Your emails and contributions to the site may constitute public records and be retained to the extent required by the Public Records Act 2005. Site Scope may also need to disclose those materials under the Official Information Act 1982 or to a Parliamentary Select Committee or Parliament in response to a parliamentary question.

Site Scope prize draw terms and conditions

Terms and conditions for Site Scope’s promotion run at the Waitangi Housing Expo 2024.

  1. By participating in any competition or prize draw advertised by Site Scope, you confirm that you accept and agree to these competition terms.
  2. The promoter of the prize draw is Site Scope. The prize draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook and/or other Social Media channels. You completely release Facebook and/or other Social Media channels from any and all liability associated with this prize draw.
  3. Only one valid entry per participant will be accepted for the prize draw.
  4. Entrants must follow the instructions on the prize draw Facebook post and/or other channels to enter this prize draw.
  5. The competition period runs from Sunday 4th February until Wednesday 7th February.
  6. At the end of the prize draw period, Site Scope will select a winner or winners (at Site Scope’s discretion) for each prize draw from entries received during the prize draw period.
  7. The winner(s) will be drawn as specified by the Facebook prize draw post and/or other channels.
  8. Site Scope will endeavour to notify each of the prize winners via Facebook. However, if the winner cannot be reached within three working days of the prize being drawn, Site Scope may redraw a new prize winner without liability to any person. Site Scope reserves the right to contact the selected winners by other means.
  9. Site Scope is not responsible for any prize that has been lost, stolen, damaged or tampered with in any way before it reaches a winner and after it has been released from Site Scope’s custody and control.
  10. The decisions of Site Scope on all matters relating to this prize draw are final.
  11. Site Scope reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner’s right to redeem the prize under these terms and conditions.
  12. Site Scope reserves the right to amend the prizes offered and these terms and conditions and at its absolute discretion cancel the prize draw at any time and without prior notice.
  13. To the extent permitted by law, Site Scope excludes any liability it may have to you arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this prize draw.
  14. Any personal information collected as part of this prize draw will be held by Site Scope under its obligations under the Privacy Act. You have the right to access, update and correct any of your personal information.
