About Us
Founding Site Scope
Site Scope was founded in 2016 during one of the greatest periods of economic growth New Zealand had seen. The construction industry was reaching capacity and project delivery was becoming increasingly complex.
Andrew Abercrombie saw an opportunity to deliver a range of project management services that would support responsible stakeholders and enable successful completion of projects within the built environment.
Developing Modspace®
During this previous phase of the business, Andrew was working on a concept for modular building that would be cost effective, efficient to design and manufacture, and flexible enough to be attractive to Architects, Builders and Clients.
After years of development, the team at Site Scope started manufacturing Modspace® Chassis in 2019. Since then we’ve gone from strength to strength and added Modspace® Accessways and Modspace® Homes, to our product range.
Today, Site Scope is run by Andrew’s two sons, Hamish Abercrombie and Matthew Abercrombie.
We focus on manufacturing Modspace® Products and have an in-house Design and Project Management team to support Clients who use our products.

Our ‘no-shortcuts’ approach makes projects a breeze. We chat with stakeholders, make smart decisions, craft great designs, and deliver top-notch results, ensuring everything runs smoothly and successfully.
